Resilience Markets

Addressing food insecurity and building community resilience in Lane County

Access to health and nutritious food is an integral part of climate justice. In the void left by cuts to SNAP benefits in 2025, the need for accessible, healthy food was greater than ever. Resilience markets help fill that void.

Resilience Markets began with a series of five markets hosted in 2024. In 2025, we expanded to 15 markets with support from Upper Willamette Soil and Water Conservation district.

With support from volunteers, we gave away roughly 700 pounds of fresh produce at each market, totaling nearly 11,000 pounds of produce to more than 700 Lane County residents!
